THHM is an acronym for The Hip Hop Museum.
Hip Hop is a cultural movement that started in the Bronx, New York.
It consists of five elements that have inspired, entertained and influenced
people all over the world.
The Hip Hop community is made up of people who are fans of and support Hip Hop globally.
Hip Hop is considered a culture because it has its own music, dance, art, way tof dress and community.
The five elements of Hip Hop are:
Hip Hop has been influenced by many cultures but Caribbean, African and Latin cultures are its primary influences. You can see the influence in various dances, art, songs and fashion.
