Celebrating 50 Years of Hip Hop Fashion 

Video Music Box and The Hip Hop Museum, in partnership with the Mayor’s Office of the City of New York, will kick off the 50th Anniversary celebration of Hip Hop culture with “The Drip: 50 Years of Hip Hop Fashion,” a live runway show at The Venue at the Hard Rock Hotel Times Square on Friday, Feb. 24th from 7 pm to 11 pm.

As a part of the yearlong celebration of the culture that started in NYC, “The Drip” will highlight the legacy of the groundbreaking urban designs of Dapper Dan, FUBU, Karl Kani and Walker Wear, and others, along with some of today’s hottest and brightest, emerging designers. These standouts are MALIK DUPRI, PEPPER JACQUES, RICHE THREADS, and HAUS OF SWAG.
